Risk Management Team

Alicia started her career with Assurance Partners in 2010 as a Commercial Account Manager. During her tenure, she has received her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Authority of Workers Compensation (CAWC) designations. Alicia currently works in our Major Accounts Division as a Risk Management Account Manager and works closely with our clients in the structuring of their risk transfer program. She also serves as a member of our Risk Management Team in developing, implementing and monitoring effective risk management techniques that are delivered to our customers.

Alicia is a graduate of Hutchinson Community College and Kansas State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. Alicia is also active in our community, serving as a Board Member for the Love, Chloe Foundation. Alicia is a native to the Salina area, along her husband, Jeff, and their children, Kinley and Krayson. In their free time, they enjoy playing golf, driving their classic cars and being outdoors.

Ashley joined Iron Insurance Partners in 2017 with a history in Office Administration and Operations Management. During her time here she has worn several hats including Executive Assistant, Operations Manager, and most recently, Client Services Coordinator for our Risk Management Team.

As a Certified Analytic Broker, Ashley works closely with our Commercial Lines Account Executives and Account Managers in mitigating business risks and enhancing client efficiencies for our Major Accounts Division. 

Ashley grew up in rural Abilene, KS. She currently resides in Salina, KS with her husband Brent, and two children, Ava and Noah. In her free time, you will likely find Ashley behind the lens of a camera, chasing down live music, browsing a local greenhouse, reeling in a big fish, or cheering on a baseball or football game!

Erin started her career at Assurance Partners in 2012 as a Personal Lines Customer Service Agent.
She is currently a Major Accounts Division Account Manager and serves as a member of our Risk Management Team.

She received a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Kansas State University.

Erin works directly with our Public Sector, Manufacturing, and Construction clients in structuring the terms and conditions of their risk transfer program, as well as risk identification and transfer mechanisms.

She is married with two boys, Parker and Hudson. She has a love for plants, concerts, working on house projects with her husband, and spending time watching her boys play golf.

Megan joined Iron Insurance Partners in 2022 with a combined work history of property and casualty risk transfer, operations and retail management.   This unique work experience allows Megan to bring a fresh perspective focused on strategic risk transfer by evaluating modern exposures, expenses, and loss mitigation.   Megan works directly with Public Sector and Contractors in both our Middle Market and Major Accounts Division, which allows a seamless transition for Middle Market accounts to grow into our Major Accounts Division.  Megan also serves as a member on our Risk Management Team.  Megan is married and spends free time enjoying the outdoors, spending time with her pets, and volunteering.        

Shusten's career with Iron Insurance begins as a Claims Analyst. Shusten brings 15 years of insurance claims service with her. She serves as a member of the Major Accounts Division and also with our Risk Management Team providing our clients with full claim reviews and promoting effective risk management opportunities for our clients.

Shusten is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Shusten grew up in Salina and now lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband Ben and their two daughters, Ella and Svea. When they are not at gymnastics meets, Shusten's family enjoys the Rocky Mountains, hiking, biking and exploring.

Tara started her career in insurance in 2011 as an Account Manager with Iron Insurance Partners. She is currently a Risk Management Account Manager and serves as a member of our Risk Management Team.

Tara works primarily with our Construction clients in the structuring of their risk transfer program. She is currently working on her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and is experienced in both Group Captive and Micro Captive Alternative Risk Transfer Insurance Programs.

 Originally from Colorado, Tara moved to Salina in 2005 to attend Kansas Wesleyan University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training and played 1^st base for the Coyotes softball team.

In college, she met her husband Randy who is a Blackhawk Pilot for the Army. The army life has taken her to live in Alabama in 2008, back to Salina in 2010, to Indiana in 2014, but ultimately landing back in Salina in 2016.

Tara and Randy enjoy traveling and you will almost never see them without their two dogs CJ & Bella.
